– Insured Financial Solutions, LLC will sponsor the Small Business Management Institute seminar titled “Top Human Resource Issues that Impact Your Business” on Jan. 28 at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce. The seminar will be facilitated by Terri Barry and Jim McElhaney from 7:30-9 a.m.
With limited resources, most small business owners and operators are unaware of human resource issues impactful to their daily operations. This workshop will cover topics such as employee selection, handbook policies, the Fair Labor Standards Act and health insurance coverage. After the topics are covered, breakout sessions with professionals will go into greater detail of those topics that interests attendees the most.
Chamber members and non-members are encouraged to attend this educational seminar. The cost to attend is only $15 for members and $20 for non-members. This is the first seminar in a series of seminars the Chamber of Commerce has organized to benefit the business community.
