KIM KERSEY

The Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce named Kim Kersey as Diplomat of the Year.

Kersey, an account executive with Comcast Spotlight, has been a diplomat for the Chamber for several years. She helped oversee a membership campaign that recruited 125 new members. In addition to her work with the Chamber, Kersey is involved in several other organizations including March of Dimes, Taste of Stones River and Vanderbilt’s Children’s Hospital.

“Kim is a fantastic leader and is extremely deserving of this honor,” said Kelli Beam, director of membership. “Her enthusiasm for our program is unbelievable and the program has grown under her leadership.”

Kersey will be among those recognized at the Chamber’s Business at Its Best celebration at Embassy Suites Friday night.

Atmos Energy is the presenting sponsor. A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Keynote speaker Bryan Townsend will speak on “Stand on It! A Challenge to Take Off the Cruise Control.”
