| On Saturday, May 14 from noon-5 p.m., Fellowship Church is holding a community-wide event.
The event features arts and crafts booths, live music on multiple stages, and tons of activities for kids and teens including carnival games and inflatables. As well as a bar-be-cue cook-off contest licensed and judged by the Kansas City Bar-Be-Que Society.
Parking, activities and admission is free.
MayFest is committed to benefiting the community and making it a happier and healthier place to live.
Not only does Fellowship Church want to play host to a day of fun and fellowship, it also wants to support the local food collection ministry known as FUEL.
FUEL collects food for school children who would otherwise go hungry over the weekend.
All attendees are encouraged to bring lunch bag items to support the FUEL program. A list of items needed can be found at tnfellowship.com.
The bar-be-cue cook-off entry fee is $75 per cook-off team with the chance to win sizable cash prizes in each category.
