Join Discovery Center at Murfree Spring for a Just Me and My Dad event Friday, June 19.

The event to celebrate Dads everywhere is free and open to the public from 5-7:30 p.m.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a dad – the Murfreesboro Police Department will be here if you need one.

The entire family can Rock and Read with Read to Succeed, enjoy the Limbaugh Library Bookmobile, have a complimentary photo taken by Shacklett’s Photography, and meet Gnash, the Nashville Predators’ mascot from 5-6 p.m.

Activities also include a moon bounce and popcorn and lemonade provided by Murfreesboro City Schools ESP. CiCi’s Pizza will also have food available for purchase.

Be sure to come early and receive a free Frisbee while they last.

Discovery Center is fantastic. I don't have kids any more but I still take out-of-town guests there just show them what we have.
