Police released surveillance footage Tuesday of three suspects believed to have burglarized several cash advance stores in Murfreesboro over the weekend.
MPD released surveillance footage of these three suspects believed to have burglarized several cash advance stores in Murfreesboro over the weekend. Anyone who recognizes these men is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 893-7867.
“We are investigating these burglaries and thefts individually,” said Kyle Evans, public information officer for the Murfreesboro Police Department. “But, there are similarities in the cases that would reasonably connect them.”
The suspects burglarized Rutherford Fast Cash and First Cash on Memorial Boulevard, as well as Greenstreet Cash Advance on Northwest Broad Street.
In total, more than $5,100 worth of cash and gold was stolen during the weekend burglary spree, according to the incident reports.
The suspects were able to gain entry to all three stores by prying open back door entrances and cutting the phone lines and security alarm wires, causing an estimated $17,000 worth of damage to the businesses.
The surveillance systems at Fast Cash and Greenstreet Cash Advance were also gutted.
But the group failed to fully disable the surveillance system at First Cash, which provided police evidence of all three suspects without disguises burglarizing the store.
The suspects are described as two white males who appear to be in their mid- to late-20s and another man who looks to be in his mid- to late-40s.
However, Evans said they have not yet identified the suspects and are hoping someone will come forward with information about the men’s identities.
“Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 615-893-2717 or CrimeStoppers at 615-893-7867,” he said.
