Car burglaries and credit card theft reported

Suspects were caught on Walmart's surveillance cameras.

On May 13, 2014 several vehicles were burglarized in the area of 225 John R. Rice Boulevard. Shortly after the burglaries, two (2) suspects used at least one of the credit cards stolen from the vehicles to make fraudulent purchases at Walmart on Old Fort Parkway.

Persons with information may contact Detective Ray Daniel with the Criminal Investigations Division at 893-2717. Also, anonymous callers can call Rutherford County Crime Stoppers which is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects. Rutherford County Crime Stoppers operates Monday-Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. and may be contacted at 893-STOP (7867).
