Today the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has added a Cannon County man to its list of Top Ten Most Wanted fugitives for outstanding drug charges and aggravated assault with a motor vehicle for an incident that happened earlier this year.

Jim T. Flesher II, 37, last known address Jones Hollow Road, Woodbury, is wanted by the Cannon County Sheriff’s Office for Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Marijuana, Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle, Theft over $1000 and Felon in Possession of a
Handgun.

On April 16, 2008 two deputies approached Flesher on Cavender Branch Road while he was seen sitting
on a four-wheeler that had been reported stolen. Flesher attempted to hit one of the officers with the four-wheeler.

When he was caught, Flesher had a knife, meth and marijuana in his pocket. After a search of his home, several firearms were found along with more meth and several other motor vehicles that had been reported stolen. Flesher also has warrants for his arrest out of Georgia.

Flesher is a white male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He stands 6’1” and weighs
approximately 205 pounds. He has tattoos on both shoulders and abdomen. He is also
missing fingers on his left hand.

He has an extensive criminal history in Tennessee and
Georgia dating back to 1997. Past offenses include evading arrest, domestic assault,
manufacturing methamphetamine, felony possession of a handgun and violating an
order of protection.

Law enforcement considers him dangerous and he should be
approached with caution. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jim T. Flesher

leading to his arrest.
