At more than 4,000 square feet, the stand-alone building is located next to Panera Bread and employs nearly 20 people.
The new store features a state-of-the-art, hands-on design with experience tables to engage shoppers and allow customers to try items before making any purchases. Trained consultants provide demonstrations of a wide range of services, including U-verse TV, U-verse High Speed Internet, U-verse Voice, tablets and the latest mobile devices.
Shoppers can also test out tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tablet 2 10.1, the Samsung ATIV Smart PC, the Asus Vivo Tab RT and other emerging devices like the AT&T MiFi Liberate – the first mobile hotspot with a touchscreen display, and the Samsung Galaxy Camera with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and AT&T 4G mobile Internet connectivity.
Customers can even purchase a new wireless home phone. No telephone wall jack is required, and it can be used anywhere where there is a strong cellular signal and available electrical outlet.
“We want our customers to have a superior experience from the moment they walk through the door,” said Lanie Johnson, regional director of External Affairs for AT&T Tennessee. “This new Smyrna location will allow us to accommodate more customers more comfortably, and showcase more products and services.”
The new store is led by store manager Brandon Ward, assistant store managers Julie Danner and Michael Gilbert and a team of 15 sales consultants who are ready to assist both business and retail customers with purchasing decisions and technical support.
Visit the new store from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., or call 615-459-3058 for additional information.
