Burglars stole about $3,000 worth of property when they struck three neighbors on Rachel Court Wednesday in the Florence community, sheriff’s deputies reported.

A Craftsman’s toolbox with tools was stolen from Paul Bowles, Deputy Edwin Fitzgerald reported. Loss was estimated at $1,000.

Burglars stole about $1,500 worth of fishing equipment from neighbor John Shultz. Items missing included seven fishing rods and reels, a tackle box with lures, a depth finder and a ratchet set.

Deputy Brad Lynn reported thieves stole a Craftsman push mower and weed trimmer from Billie Howard. Loss was estimated at $350.
