Burglars steal laptops, TVs

Computer laptops were stolen in two apartment burglaries Tuesday and Wednesday, Murfreesboro Police reported.

Burglars removed $3,750 worth of property from Eban Buchanan of Lascassas Pike, Officer Travis Henderson reported. Items stolen included a television, laptop, X Box 360 game console and 20 games.

A witness heard saw a man wearing a hoodie knocking on the door before the burglary but no suspect was charged yet.

In another break-in, Officer Marja Atchley reported someone stole a 20-inch flat screen TV, laptop, fire box and a box of Regions Bank checks from Karen Keilman of Fairview Avenue.

Loss was estimated at $1,800. No suspects were identified.
