Burglars broke into a church and a home, stealing more than $3,000 worth of property, sheriff’s deputies reported.

Someone stole a power mixing board, amplifier and guitar from Greater Grace Church on Johnson-Lowe Road in Christiana, Deputy Nigel Kapadia reported. Loss was set at $500.

Burglars also stole about $2,800 worth of property from Troy Harper’s home on Arnold Drive off Old Woodbury Highway, Deputy Caleb Roney reported.

Missing property included a computer modem, laptop computer, 52-inch flat screen TV, jewelry box, PlayStation 3 and a 27-inch television.

Detective Ralph Mayercik is investigating.
