Burglars stole an $8,300 diamond bracelet Tuesday during a home burglary off state Route 231 South (Lebanon Highway), sheriff’s deputies reported.

The gold and diamond bracelet and camera equipment were stolen from Keith Weatherly of Compton Road, Deputy Trent Givens reported. Other items taken included a digital camera with a zoom lens and fisheye lens and a handy cam. Loss was set at $13,050.

Detective Steve Kohler is investigating.

In another burglary, someone removed $3,000 worth of property Tuesday from roommates Trudy L. Lanius and Kim Childs of Bragg Avenue, Cpl. Brian Wright reported.

Items missing included a microwave, two Red Box DVDs, a box TV, a 46-inch TV, Comcast cable box, kitchen knife set, IPod, DVD player, laptop computer and purse. Value was set at $3,000.
