Burglars vandalized two vehicles and stole two computer monitors owned by Advanced Auto Salvage on Mt. Herman Road, a sheriff’s corporal reported Thursday.

Owner Munther Masarweh reported the Dell computer monitors were stored in the office while the vandalized 1994 Lexus and 2006 Focus were parked in the lot, Cpl. Ryan Huggins reported. Loss and damage were set at $6,600.

“Both vehicles had their windows busted out, along with interior damage and stereos pulled out,” Huggins reported.

The burglars smashed the taillights on the Lexus, which damaged the trunk lid.

Masarweh planned to use the Lexus for scrap and place the Focus on his brother’s car lot for sale. He has experienced several problems with people vandalizing cars.

People with information about the crimes may call Detective Todd Sparks at 904-3047.
