Burglars steal $7,000 in property from vehicles

Burglars stole a La Vergne Police officer’s badge and identification when they broke into her car and 10 other vehicles in Rockvale and Christiana overnight Sunday and Monday, sheriff’s deputies reported.

Officer Sheree Robertson of Rockvale lost about $3,000 worth of property when it was stolen out of her own vehicle. Items stolen included a Coach’s purse, wallet, check card, $340 cash, an I Phone, cocktail ring, bracelet and a Journey necklace.

The burglars stole almost $7,000 in property from the vehicles.

Other victims and property stolen on Walnut Grove Road included:

• Daniel Norquest, a radar detector.

• Kurt Miller, a Garmin GPS.

• Robert Trammell, a sub woofer and amp.

Items stolen from Hampden Avenue, Jarrett Drive, Walter Leathers Drive and Middleton Drive in Rockvale include:

• Richard Stewart, $25 in change.

• Nakana Coston, iPod Nano, MP3 player, camera and cell phone.

• Phillip Jordan, carton of cigarettes and a lottery ticket.

• Jeannie Williams, camera, iPod and debit card.

• Jason Fluty, .22-caliber pistol, iPod Nano, Da Vinci Code DVD and compact discs.

• Brenda Henderson, Dell laptop computer, credit cards and bank debit cards.
