Don't you just feel sorry for the guy who had his carton of cigarettes and lottery ticket stolen. He probably spent his last dollar buying these "can't do without" items.

what will suck is if the lotto ticket is a winner! As for the smokes, yes you can do without them but I am a smoker who quit and picked it back up. Point is that cigs are addictive and, moral obligations aside, that is a commodity that is very valuable wether you agree with someone's decision to fund their vices or not.

'twas a crime, nevertheless ! blues2, you drink your booze (or do you have vices?) and I'll smoke my cigarettes. (Unless they're stolen, of course). And, yeah, I can't do without them, either, and as long as I can afford them and don't have them stolen... I'll smoke them and play the lottery (and maybe go to Tunica.... or Vegas...). Shucks, maybe I'll even have some booze !!

The week before there were about 11 cars hit in Royal Glen Subdivision. It appears there is a professional crime wave moving around in the county. Who is next? Let's help the cops catch these thieves!

For some reason, it has never crossed my mind to store such valuables as computers, jewelry, money, or credit/debit cards in the car. There was that time I carelessly left a lottery ticket out in my truck overnight though.

These people paid for these things with their money. Whether it was cigarettes, lottery tickets, or lap tops, these things belonged to these people, and no fool had a right to steal them!

If you will take your personal items in the house with you or put them out of sight your vehicle is 87% less likely to be broken into. I just made up that percentage, but 15% of statistics are made up anyways.

Let me just say that I was one of those that had items stolen and it was not in my car. They came into my house. So please don't be so fast to judge others and I hope that you never have the misfortune to have someone take some thing from you that you own.
