Burglars spray painted a note in Spanish asking “where is coke?” in the bedroom Friday at a home off Southeast Broad Street, Murfreesboro Police reported.
Victim Jose Torres of Silverpoint Drive told Officer Marja Atchley he didn’t have any idea who spray painted the note painted in gold at his bedroom wall.
“The suspect spray painted gold paint all over the walls, refrigerator, cabinets, counter tops, bedding, all the clothes hanging in Jose’s closet and his children’s closet as well,” Atchley reported. “Jose’s pickup truck was spray painted also.”
Burglars stole a 32-inch flat screen TV, computer, microwave oven, jewelry and digital camera. Value was estimated at under $4,000. Paint damage was estimated at $1,000.
In another burglary, Officer Anthony Skok reported Thursday burglars stole more than $3,700 worth of property from Suzanne Valentine of Castleview Court.
