The historic Marymont Springs neighborhood in Murfreesboro will be the site of the year’s premier home tour, the Boulevard of Dreams, being hosted by ParkTrust Development, Sept. 13 – 28, with a team of six, impressive builders producing an array of spectacular homes with the latest in technology, home ideas, architecture and interior design according to Bob Parks, chairman of ParkTrust Development.
Parks said the Boulevard of Dreams home tour at Marymont Springs, located within 30 minutes of Nashville, is a very special home tour which will provide the public the opportunity to escape, to dream and to find inspiration for their own homes while helping a worthy cause.
“Our team of builders’ unique homes will provide inspiration to tour visitors from new, home technology to clever ideas you can adapt for your own home,” Parks said. “There will be something to appeal to everyone at this tour. We are also very pleased the tour opens during United Way’s Week of Caring. We are donating 10% of the ticket sales to this worthy organization.”
The 2008 Boulevard of Dreams building team includes: Mark Clark, J. O. Clark Building Group; Steve and Brent Martin, Steve Martin Construction; Tony Novotny, Novotny Custom Homes; Mike Parker, Laurel Brook Homes. Inc.; Randall Davis, Randall Davis Homebuilder, LLC; and Henry Cole, John Wieland Homes.
“Creating a beautiful, unique resort-style community has been my dream for years. Marymont Springs is Murfreesboro’s first master planned community and the tour represents the culmination of this goal. These builders were chosen to be a part of this very special event because of their vision, determination, and ability to produce master craftsman homes,” Parks said.
The homes are located in the Boulevard section of Marymont Springs - the first section developed of the stunning, 650-acre neighborhood. The historic mansion has been preserved and is being used as a Sales Center. With a gorgeous landscape, the luxurious amenities of the gated community include a future lake with a fishing dock, resort-style clubhouse with a pool and entertaining decks overlooking the lake, an outdoor fireplace, a network of paths for walking and bike riding, and a Town Center with future retail.
The six, Boulevard of Dreams homes will be fully furnished in styles from English Tudor to French Country. The beautiful homes range in price from $650,000 to just over $1 million and square footage from 4,500 to almost 6,000.
“We have a lot of surprises in store for tour guests which we will be revealing in the next few months. It is a great time to concentrate on making your home a haven, your escape and your oasis, and the Boulevard of Dreams will provide this inspiration,” Parks said.

How many in Murfreesboro can afford this? Those who can already have such homes so it will have to depend on "yankee's" and those from the "Left Coast" to move in.
