CMT’s highest rated series of 2009, The Singing Bee, is back for its second season and features a contestant from Murfreesboro.

The Singing Bee tests contestants’ knowledge of lyrics to well-known songs that are a mix of country music and popular favorites from other genres.

Hosted by Melissa Peterman, new weekly, one-hour episodes promise more laughs and excitement than ever before.

This week’s episode airs Friday, March 12 at 9 p.m., (ET) and features Julie Parrish from Murfreesboro.
