'Boro resident picked up by police in Louisiana

A Murfreesboro resident wanted on suspicion of aggravated sexual battery was picked up in Louisiana and transported back to Rutherford County on Wednesday, July 7.

German Tzoc-Garcia reportedly fled the area after discovering police were looking for him. Tzoc-Garcia was wanted for having alleged sexual contact with a juvenile beginning when the victim was 14.

Tzoc-Garcia is not being released from the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on bond. An immigration hold is in place on Tzoc-Garcia. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 20.

If they've got an immigration hold on him, obviously he's an illegal.
