Bonnie Jane Lewis

Bonnie Lewis
Bonnie Jane Lewis, age 70, departed this life on October 6, 2009 peacefully at her home surrounded by those to whom she meant the most, her husband and sons.

Bonnie is now in company with Jesus, is without pain, in a new and glorified body, walking the streets of gold in heaven. She is singing praises to God as she walks with Jesus and her mother to visit friends and relatives who are in heaven and have been waiting for God to bring her home.

What a glorious reunion! We rejoice that Bonnie is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She has left behind, temporarily, her husband of 51 years, Lloyd L. Lewis, Sr.; son, Lloyd L. (Pamela) Lewis, Jr.; grandchildren, Lauren, Daniel and Morgan; son, Lon A. (Allison) Lewis; grandchildren, Emily and Madeline; brother, William Arthur of Gridley, Kansas.

Bonnie was known in the antique business world as the "Yankee Lady". She was active buying and selling antiques for 40 years in Indiana, Minnesota and Tennessee. She was president of the Murfreesboro Antique Dealers Association for years which has contributed to many local charities. Bonnie was born in Kansas. This sunflower brightened the lives of everyone who knew her with her kind heart and beautiful smile. She will do the same in heaven as she joins the chorus of angels.

The funeral service for Bonnie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2009 at Jennings & Ayers.

Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home, 820 S. Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. (615) 893-2422 www.jenningsandayers.com
