Bobby Gene Wilson, age 71, of Murfreesboro, passed away on October 25, 2011 at Community Care of Rutherford County.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Levoy Taylor and Gladys Louise Bush Wilson; brothers, Levoy Wilson, Jr., Jackie Wilson and Wayne Wilson; and sister, Dorothy Jacobs. He is survived by his son, Jeffery Wilson of Knoxville; brothers, Jimmy Wilson, Ernest (Linda) Wilson, Donnie (Kay) Wilson, Randall (Teresa Watson) Wilson all of Murfreesboro; sisters, Caroline Wilson, Nancy Clark, Patricia Caldwell and June Haislip all of Murfreesboro; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A chapel service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 30, 2011 with Dr. Lenny Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with family and friends serving as active pallbearers.
