Middle Tennessee will appear on national television three times during the 2010 football season while also receiving at least one regional broadcast as announced by the Sun Belt Conference on Monday.

The Blue Raiders will open the 2010 campaign on ESPNU with a home contest against Minnesota Sept. 2, then will host conference foe Troy on ESPN2 Oct. 5. Middle Tennessee will also appear on ESPN2 Nov. 2 when it travels to Arkansas State.

Over the past four years, the Blue Raiders have played on national television a conference-best 10 times and that total will climb to at least 13 in 2010.

Middle Tennessee will open its Sun Belt season on the road against Louisiana-Lafayette and that game will be shown regionally on the Sun Belt Network Sept. 25. Locally, the Sun Belt Network games will be shown on Comcast Channel 27.

The Blue Raiders could also be picked for Sun Belt Network games during the league's Wildcard Weeks Nov. 6, Nov. 13, Nov. 20, and Nov. 27. During these weeks, the SBC will be able to show the most compelling games throughout the conference.

Other possible television games involving the Blue Raiders will be announced at a later date.
