Blackman-Oakland boys basketball game to be televised live

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Tonight's Blackman-Oakland boys basketball game at Blackman will be televised live on MyTV30 at 8 p.m. as part of its High School Hoops broadcasts.

Blackman in ranked No. 9 in the state and has a 15-4 overall record and a 5-2 mark in District 7-AAA. Oakland is 12-9 overall and 4-3 in league play.

George Plaster will handle the play-by-play duties, while former Vanderbilt star Matt Freije will do the color commentary.

The Smyrna-La Vergne boys game scheduled for Friday, Jan. 31, at La Vergne also will be broadcast live on MyTV30 at 8 p.m.

The Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central boys game at Wilson Central on Friday, Feb. 7, also will air live.
