Here are the final scores from the Middle School League tournament (20 games) held this week at Christiana Middle School.
3rd Place - Girls - Christiana Middle 43 - Oakland Middle 34
3rd Place - Boys - Siegel Middle 50 - Rockvale Middle 40
Championship - Girls - Blackman Middle 51 - Rock Springs Middle 39
Championship - Boys - LaVergne Middle 39 - Oakland Middle 28
The Blackman girls are now 16 - 1, the Rock Springs girls are 18 - 2, the La Vergne boys are 19 - 2 and the Oakland boys are 17 - 3.
All four teams in the finals were No. 1 seeds and all 8 teams will advance to the TMSAA sub-sectionals and perhaps the sectional as well. Sites and times are TBA. Full game reports, scores and all tournament selections will be in the Sunday Post.
