I know that it comes as a shock to alot of paretns and students, but isn't that how much is? Most people have no idea how someone really is. I'm not saying that he is guilty but I am saying that as a graduate from that school he would certainly not be the first teacher to be inappropriate with female students. Most students just dont say anything for fear that people won't believe them. It is sad that we hear of these cases so much now days but it is also a progress that teachers are being Caught!! If he is innocent I hope that evidence sets him free, and if he is guilty then he deserves every bit of what he gets.

Even if the girls were flirting, it would still be wrong for him to participate. Just as students are held accountable for following rules and procedures, so should the teachers that are in the schools.

Lancaster will have his day in court and an opportunity to defend himself. It seems to me there is a lot of this in the school system. An almost annual event: Teach Indicted for Sexual Offenses. Do we have that many sexual predators in our midst?

Innocent until proven guilty - isn't that the law? This guy has no past criminal record. I have never met Mr. Lancaster, but he was my daughter's favorite teacher. I discussed this matter with her, and she never witnessed or even heard about any inappropriate behavior on his part.
I have seen how some of these teenagers behave, and I have many theories about what could have happened. Obviously the media only tells one side.
I hope the best for Mr. Lancaster and all concerned.

This is completely ridiculous... I am a BHS graduate from 2006, and a family friend of The Lancaster's. I live near Mr. Lancaster and his family. He is such a family man. He always talked about his gorgeous wife and his little girl! I think now days thinks get so twisted and tangled... are we really going to believe a couple teenage girl story over a prominent teacher?!?! Who by the way has been teaching for 15 years!!! I think this is ridiculous and unfair! I know myself and the rest of my "2006" graduating class and anyone else who has known Mr. Lancaster fully supports him and believes in his innocence!

I remember a coach/health teacher in high school, the girls sought him out as much as he sought them. He had a girl or two sometimes more that were basically his pets and helpers in every class. I thought it was wrong then, even though I never witnessed anything past favoritism. Just didn't like him because of the elevated status the pretty girls got in his classes.
Nashville Glencliff High 81 to 85.

OK....... here is the deal Lancaster wasn't like that he wasn't just cool with pretty girls!!!!! He acted the same with guys and girl tall, thin, short, fat, blonde, brunette, ugly, pretty! It wasn't that! He is an amazing teacher! And he is a teacher who actually made his students interested in his class and motivated students to do their very best...!

I didnt go to Blackman but some of my friends did and if he is guilty then yes he should get what he deserves & from the things i have heard about Lancaster he doesnt seem like he would do that But I think the girls KNEW what they was doing and knew it was wrong when they was doing! The girls are old enough to know that it was wrong..!!! If get Lancaster gets in trouble then the girls should too!!

Regardless of what he did in 2006 or any other year, if he did wrong this time then he should get what the court gives him. It only takes one time. In my years in school I have known some really amazing teachers that knew how to set boundaries with the "pretty girls" and in some case "cute guys". Maybe Mr. Lancaster thought he was setting boundaries but they weren't good enough. Yes, he's innocent until proven guilty, but, why even do something to put yourself in this type situation?? I don't know Mr. Lancaster but I do know others who were "prominent teachers" that have fallen prey to this type situation.

WOW, I just went to that site that triumph mentioned, and he is correct. Everyone should check it out. Also, FYI, just because a person is a good teacher, it doesn't mean they can't/won't make mistakes.

he sounds like one of those guys you see on chris hanson's msnbc to catch a predator guys like him take it up the rear in prison and he deserbves everthing he gets even if he didnt touch a child fact is he approached them!!!!
