Blackman tied the score at 1-1 in the top of the second inning but never threatened to score again and fell 6-1 to Colliersvile Wednesday evening to bow out of the TSSAA Class AAA State Baseball Tournemant at Oakland's Mack Hawks Field.
The loss was the Blaze second of the day following an opening win Tuesday.
Collierville regained the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the second, pushed out to 3-1 in the third and clinched the win with three runs in the fifth.
Jonathan Sisco scored for the Blaze, leading off the second with a single to right center, moving to third of Justin Bowers double and scoring on a groundout.
Collierville pitcher Cameron Finch never let a runnre past second base for the rest of the game.
