A man interested in buying a home apparently thought it would be a good idea to send a nude picture of himself in an effort to impress a Murfreesboro real estate agent.
The woman told police someone, a person she believes is a man, e-mailed her March 8 in reference to a house that is on the market. Oddly enough, the e-mail included the lewd picture as well, according to a Murfreesboro Police Department incident report.
“At 9:50 a.m., I responded to the (1900 block of) Nightwalk Court in reference to an obscene e-mail,” Officer Joe Zeltner reported. “Upon arrival, I made contact with the complainant who stated when she opened her work e-mail this morning, someone had sent her a picture of male’s genitalia.”
Although the e-mail could be a prank, the woman told police she is concerned because the author mentioned being interested in one of the properties that she has for sell in Nashville.
Given the perplexity of the situation, Zeltner reported the woman though it would be in her best interest to notify police.
“(The complainant) stated she wanted the incident documented just in case problems arose from this e-mail,” Zeltner reported.
As of Friday, there have not been any additional incidents reported to police – a sign that maybe the man has realized some packages are better left unsent. |
