The following “bizarre” reports were on file last week with Murfreesboro Police.
The manager of Cracker Barrel on Chaffin Place in Murfreesboro was assaulted after he confronted three patrons who failed to pay their bill on Saturday night, July 8.
The two women and man allegedly ate $38 worth of food and attempted to leave the restaurant without paying.
The manager approached the male subject as they walked out of the front door and he pushed the manager down. The manager fell and hit his head on the door.
The trio then fled the scene.
The male suspect was described as a white male, 5 feet 2 inches tall and skinny, wearing a gray shirt and camo shorts.

In an unrelated incident, a witness reported seeing a woman “wiping down a vehicle with gloves on and removing bloody towels from the trunk” in the Motel 6 parking lot, also on Chaffin Place.
The witness said the suspect shouted threats at him when he went outside to see exactly what she was doing.
The case has been assigned to a dectective for futher investigation. |
