The following “bizarre” report was on file March 19 with Murfreesboro Police.

A neighbor’s security camera recorded a man allegedly stealing a woman’s package of adult-related products March 17 from her Greenland Drive apartment – some of which he kept before throwing away the rest of the goods.

The woman told police she is a professional blogger who reviews products for sponsored posts, which in this case, comprised more than $50 worth of female sex toys, according to a Murfreesboro Police Department incident report.

“(The woman) told me she found the box and some of the products damaged in the trash container,” Officer Tyler Smith reported, adding a nearby resident allowed him to review the surveillance footage.

“The footage showed the delivery of the package while someone sitting in a chair (close by) watched,” he reported. “After the postman left, two subjects obtained the package and went inside (another) apartment. A subject then carried a white plastic sack, containing the items that were recovered, to the dumpster.”

Smith reported he advised the woman how she could obtain a warrant and press charges against the man. The surveillance footage was also saved as evidence.

As of Friday, the matter remained under investigation.

Why is it up to the lady to press charges? It is embarrasing, im sure, so she probably wont do anything about this. At least petty theft, much less mail fraud.
