Bizarre behavior in the ‘Boro



The following “bizarre” reports was on file last week with Murfreesboro Police.

Police arrested a Murfreesboro man on suspicion of assault and resisting arrest at about 2 a.m. Wednesday morning, June 23.

A young man, identified by his roommate as Jackson Mooneyham, was discovered by officers lying on a sidewalk at 310 Hillside Ct. unable to communicate.

Mooneyham’s roommate informed officers Mooneyham had been doing “shrooms and Xanax.”

An EMS arrived on the scene and attempted to treat Mooneyham. At this time Mooneyham became violent, grabbing the leg of the EMS and punching him.

Officers were forced to restrain the suspect and he was transported to the Middle Tennessee Medical Center before booked on the aforementioned charges.

A local woman contacted police in reference to vandalism done to her vehicle Wednesday, June 23.

Debbie Miller informed officers sometime between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. unknown persons painted pictures of “men’s body parts” on the vehicle in addition to obscene language.

Miller told police the car is her teenage son’s vehicle and she believes that an ex-girlfriend of her son’s had something to do with it.

Police reported another vehicle in the neighborhood was also spray painted.
