The following “bizarre” report was on file last week with Murfreesboro Police.
While conducting a bar check, Officer Matt Garrett saw Mike Davenport of Lewisburg was involved in a disturbance on the dance floor at River Stone Saloon last Sunday on Thompson Lane.
Davenport argued with a woman before falling down. He stated the woman he was arguing with hit him. Davenport suffered a small cut on his forehead.
He changed his story several times and told Garrett another man struck him and stomped on his foot. Garrett said he saw the man and “he did not strike anyone that I could see.”
