The following “bizarre” report was on file last week with Murfreesboro Police Department.

A customer at Kangaroo on South Rutherford Boulevard accused the store clerk of stealing his money, Officer David Kelch reported.

The customer came inside the store complaining the manual for his Dodge Dakota truck held 15 gallons of fuel but the pump showed he put 21 gallons of gas in the truck and charged him.

Other customers convinced him to leave. He called three times to accuse the clerk of stealing his money. She gave him corporate information to file a complaint.

Sounds like he may have a legitimate complaint if in fact the truck only has a 15 gallon tank.

For Dodge Dakota's, a 22gal tank is an option. I'm betting this guy is just an moron.

If I were a betting man, I would bet that the customer is an idiot. He's not an idiot for not knowing how much gas his truck holds. But he is an idiot for the way he acted. The clerk wouldn't have been the one stealing the money either, she'd probably just an hourly worker. And, gas pumps are tightly regulated by TN State Commerce and Trade, they may be off a hair, not probably not by 6 gallons.

What a "Jughead".
He should know how big his tank is.
Did he push the truck in to be able to fill it to capacity?
