The following “bizarre” report was on file this week with Murfreesboro Police Department.
Jerry Emert of Knoxville was in the restroom at an Old Fort Parkway business when two white men cornered him, Officer Jonathan Brown reported.
“Emert said that the males were upset because he didn’t say ‘excuse me’ when he entered the restroom so the bigger male took him by the shirt collar, pinned him to a wall and head-butted him twice,” Brown reported.
Store employees recovered a credit card receipt with a name on it. The two men fled.
