Billy Wayne Elliott, age 63, passed away January 14, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Billy was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County. He was retired from Rutherford County Landfill.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, James Will Elliott and Vivian Hall Elliott. He is survived by wife, Betty Jean Elliott of Murfreesboro, TN; three daughters, Misty Dawn Myers of McMinnville, TN, Brandie Dawn Elliott of Murfreesboro, TN, and Brittany Roxanne Elliott also of Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers, Bob Elliott of Murfreesboro, TN and Herbie Elliott of Lascassas, TN; one sister, Beverly Davis of Smyrna, TN; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services for Billy will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at Jennings & Ayers with Dwight Smitty officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
