Bible Park meets with Wilson board; site decision soon

Officials with the Bible Park USA will be on hand in Wilson County Friday for a specially called meeting of the Wilson County/Lebanon Development Board. Armon Bar-Tur, developer of the Bible Park USA, said he is pleased at the degree of interest shown by Lebanon and Wilson County officials in the Bible Park USA.

“Mayor Fox invited us in to hear from the economic development leaders from the both Wilson County and Lebanon, and we look forward to the meeting tomorrow,” said Bar-Tur.

“The meeting tomorrow gives us a chance to tell Mr. Bar-Tur how excited we are about the possibility of being chosen as the site for this major tourist attraction,” said Lebanon Mayor Don Fox. “Being able to attract a $200 million attraction right here to add to our tax base and build our tourism market is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We want to do everything we can to be the chosen site for the Bible Park USA project.”

Bar-Tur said he will be ready to announce a decision about a site for the Park soon.
