BETTY SUE FELTS UNDERWOOD, age 65, of La Vergne, died Thursday, June 23, 2011.

She was born Oct. 15, 1945 to the late Johnnie Allen and Mary Ruth Proctor Felts. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Bobby, David, and Glen Felts; and sister, Barbara Underwood.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Bro. Martin Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kenneth C. Underwood; sons, Dwayne, Robert “Bear”, and Jason all of LaVergne; grandchildren, Michael, Crystal, Kayla, Jessica, JW, Justine, Shelby, KC, and Christopher Underwood; 4 great grandchildren, Anthony, Nevaeh, Micah, and Lilly; brothers, Jerry (Joyce) Felts of Dickson, Steve Felts of Charlotte, James Felts of Fairview, Wayne Felts of Winchester, and Ricky Felts of LaVergne; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Felts of LaVergne, Monica Felts Vanderpool of Dickson; brother-in-law, Fred Underwood of LaVergne.

Mrs. Underwood was a homemaker, a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend.
