Betty Jean Johnson, age 62, of Murfreesboro, passed away on March 3, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was a native and life-long resident of Rutherford County. She was a member of the Baptist Church and retired from Vault Industries where she built airplane wings.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Elam A. and Elizabeth Lamb Tolbert. She is survived by her daughter, Martha (Ronald) Vincion of Chapel Hill; sisters, Barbara Jernigan of Readyville and Marie Weeks of Manchester; aunt, Mabel Robertson of Murfreesboro and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Paige Vincion and Preston James Vincion.
Chapel service for Betty will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Dr. Lenny Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Dilton Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home, 820 S. Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. (615) 893-2422 www.jenningsandayers.com |
