Bessie Mae McCullough Mankin, age 80, passed away on November 18, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents: J.C. (Clint) McCullough and Maggie Swaner McCullough, son, Calvin Mankin, brothers; Johnnie McCullough and Billy McCullough, and sisters; Mattie Irene McCullough, Betty Faye McCullough, Sara Manus, and Lucille Arnold. She was survived by her daughters; Yvonne Clinton of Murfreesboro and Vivian Mankin Dunagan of Fort Worth, TX, sisters; Polly Kinnard of Murfreesboro and JoAnne Spence of Hammond, LA, grandchildren; Christian Abel Clinton, Ashley Hackman, and Rockford (Rocky) Mankin and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M on Friday and from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery with Dale Lawson officiating.
