In conjunction with National Spay Day on Tuesday, the Beesley Clinic will be offering Spay Neuter Week specials for young dogs and cats aged 9 weeks to 3 years.
The Beesley Clinic will be offering a $15 discount for spay or neuter surgeries on dogs and a $10 discount for cats. Certain restrictions apply.
The clinic is offering the specials due in large part because Rutherford County has a problem with overpopulation of dogs and cats. Only 20 percent are reclaimed or adopted. The remainder of these unwanted pets are euthanized, Beesley Clinic officials said in a press release.
The procedures will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. There will be a set number of surgeries performed each day, and walk-ins cannot be seen for surgeries.
