Murfreesboro Police arrested four teens Saturday for allegedly breaking into cars near Blackman High School.

Treat Edward Luton, 18, of Kody Court, Viegphonthone Patrik Syvilayvong, 18, of Bethany Circle, Jesse James Helton, 18, of Kody Court, and a juvenile were arrested after a traffic stop revealed stolen loot inside their car.

When a complaint was called in about car burglaries in the area, MPD Officer Jacob Lamb responded to Pantera Drive near Blackman High School. A witness had reported four subjects leaving the scene of a burglary in a maroon station wagon.

Lamb caught up with the subjects and Kenatak Lane and Maya Drive, where he food an XBox 360 on the lap of one of the passengers in the car.

The cars' owner, Luton, was questioned at the scene and admitted to driving around the area and stealing various items from cars, including the video game system. The other teens also admitted to the crimes.

All were charged with three counts of burglary to automobiles and two counts of theft under $500. All property was returned to the victims.

Luton, Syvilayvong and Helton are scheduled to appear in court June 2 and their bonds were sets at $9,500. The juvenile was taken to the Rutherford County Juvenile Detention Center.

In an unrelated incident, Thor Lucas Coleman, 19, was arrested after neighbors reported a man walking around in people's yards on Chalice Drive near Rutherford Boulevard.

MPD allegedly found jumper cables, suntan lotion and a North Face jacket in Coleman's possession. He was charged with two counts of burglary, three counts of theft and public intoxication.

I agree. That's the 3rd typo in just two pages. Spell check does not catch everything!

It's a song title. Not a typo. That's called an allusion, defined as a figure of speech that makes a reference to, or representation of, a place, event, literary work, myth, or work of art.
