We'll see if multi-rich Black will care for the little peoople...hope so...

Voting along democratic party lines for all those years did very few things for the the little people. Just enough for a photo op before re-election. Funny how so many don't see the rich democrats in politics.

He did not represent the majority of rutherford county voters. we are very conservative and he was against us on all the issies. He went so far as to screw us one last time before we kicked him to the curb. He's probably somewhere helping women murder (abort) their babies today.

Sprtman,
If he did not represent the people of Rutherford County, how did he stay in Congress for 25 years?
And jimmychrurch, let's see what Black does for anyone from Rutherford County. I doubt she can even find it on a map.
Bart Gordon was the best thing that happened to Rutherford County, Murfreesboro and MTSU.

Bart Gordon ignored the people he represented. I called multiple times before the Obamacare vote was carried out and was basically told I was too stupid to understand what Bart represented. He didn't listen to us. I am of the opinion that the ONLY reason he didn't run again is because he knew he wouldn't win. I say good riddance to him. And, as for Diane Black... as far as I know - she has NEVER been to Rutherford County. I never saw her here campaigning so I trust her about as far as I can spit into hurricane force winds blowing in my face. Anyone who believes that Bart Gordon was the best thing that ever happened to us in Rutherford County was definitely asleep the past two years when he sold us down the river with Obamacare and the largest Debt in our history.

If anyone thinks Black is pro-Rutherford people, she'll be the final voice in splitting the county up into two or three congressional districts to keep Murfreesboro from ever defeating someone from Gracious and Growing Gallatin...bank it...
To Bart's credit: I-24 widening, multi-millions to MTSU, same to Smyrna Airport, and Murfreesboro Airport, the Greenway, Discovery Center/Murfree Spring green preservation...kept the VA from closing in Murfreesboro...oh yeah, Bart didn't serve the people..

Maybe good things - but the lasting legacy for Bart will be that when his constituents said no - he said I don't care. In the end - his Pelosi style arrogance will be what is remembered most. Bart will be remembered for his socialist vote for Obamacare.
Black.. yes, she will end up splitting the district. I dont trust her - never did - never will.

Canalou - well it's obvious you love the pork, but the rest of us want a more fiscally reponsible representative, and Gordon was a tax and spend, tax and spend, tax and spend, tax and spend Democrat. We demand low taxes and responsibility in our Government officials something Gordon would not provide as his voting for the horrible, fiscally irresponsible Osama care bill shows. Just another Democrat baby killer.

Gordon did not, at least for the last four years he occupied the people's seat, represent the people, but he did his party. With an arrogance uncommon to Tennessee he joined the worst congress in American history in ignoring the clear wishes of his constituents. How Black will do remains to be seen, but there were many in Rutherford county who opted for her in the primary. One wins elections by getting the most votes. Black did and now it is incumbent upon those of us who elected her to giver her the oppportunity to serve.

It doesn't matter what good a person does when he tells his constituents that they are stupid and ignore the very people who elected him. He was just as smug as Nancy Pelosi!

Murfreesboro pastor I never heard him say any of that. I did a search and could not find him saying any of that.

Publius - that is what I was told when I called his office and told him i didn't want Obamacare and I was asked to STOP calling the office.
