The man suspected of robbing a bank last week has turned himself in to authorities, a Murfreesboro Police Department spokesman said.

Austin Lee Jacobs, who allegedly robbed the Rutherford Boulevard 5/3 Bank on Thursday, June 17, is now in custody in Coffee County, MPD spokesman Kyle Evans said.

Following the bank robbery last week, authorities pursued Jacobs into Coffee County, but he eluded arrest.
