More than 100 children received meals and gifts Dec. 8 during the annual Special Kids Christmas Party, sponsored by CB&S Bank.

“We are grateful for CB&S Bank’s continued partnership over the past four years,” said Chris Truelove, executive director of Special Kids. “Their Christmas party sponsorship will provide a way for our children to participate in a typical activity that most would otherwise not have the opportunity to do and that many of us take for granted.”

CB&S Bank employees and Special Kids board members volunteered their time to the event. Children had their pictures taken with Santa Claus, made crafts with their families, sang Christmas carols, and listened to a reading of the Christmas story from the Book of Luke.

Special Kids is a Christian nonprofit organization, which provides therapeutic rehabilitation and professional nursing services to children with special needs.

Since 1998, Special Kids has served more than 2,300 families from 11 counties in Middle Tennessee.
