Kick off the new school year with the 2nd annual Back to School Celebration Aug. 10 from 2-4:30 p.m. in downtown Murfreesboro.
All public, private and home-educated pre-k to 12th grade students and families are invited to attend this free event.
Invaluable information will be offered, as well as special guests, demonstrations, games, activities, inflatables and give aways.
The celebration’s mission is to bring the community and its students together and to bring an understanding of the honor of an education.
Also, the first 500 students to enter the celebration will receive a free cooler lunchbox.
Free parking will be available in the city parking garage, Cannonsburg Village and surrounding streets.
