Aubrey H. Wilson Jr., age 83 passed away April 17, 2011 at his residence.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County. Aubrey was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and was active member of the aviation club. He had a love for flying. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the Panama Canal zone. He was a career employee of the Veterans Administration Hospital in Murfreesboro.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Aubrey and Alta Simmons Wilson, sisters; Mrs. Alice Mitchell and Mrs. Pauline Blankinship. He is survived by his sisters; Mrs. Oma McNabb and Mrs. Clara Todd. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sarah Hendrix Wilson, and sons; David Roy (Dawn) Wilson of Smyrna, TN, Ronald Aubrey (Jane) Wilson of Pimbrooke Pines, FL, and Ricky Harris (Cathy) Wilson of Christiana, TN, and grandchildren; Derek Wilson, Todd Wilson, Caitlyn Wilson, Connor Wilson, Ronald G. Wilson, Avery Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Dustin Apps, Anthony Peden, Lindsey Fitzgerald, and Holly Fitzgerald.
