Arnold Phillip Hill Jr. passed away on September 3, 2012 after a long illness at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN.

He was a native of Rutherford County. Arnold graduated from Walter Hill High School in 1958 and attended Madison College. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Primative Baptist Church.

Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Phillip Hill, Clura Moore Hill and brother, Elbert Dean Hill. He is survived by his brothers, Jerry and Chris Hill of Murfreesboro; sisters, Sherry and Steve Massengill of Murfreesboro, Elois and Jim Davis of Smyrna; two step-brothers, William and Shirley Andrews of Bonifay, Florida, Walter and Norma Andrews of Hixon, TN; step-sister, Elizabeth Neely of Port St. John, Florida and several nieces and nephews.

Chapel Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2012  at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Chaplain Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Drennon Family Cemetery with Jim Davis, Andrew Johnson, Brian Hazel, George Davis, Randy Hatcher and Steve Massengill serving as active pallbearers.
