Dear Readers,
As plans are being made to ring in the New Year, the Community Anti-Drug Coalition of Rutherford County wants to remind everyone to celebrate responsibly when bringing in the new year.
Restaurants and retail establishments should be vigilant in checking Ids and ensuring that sales to minors are not being made.
We encourage parents to be aware of alcohol in the home and ensure access is restricted and kept away from minors.
And, as always, adults should plan for designated drivers or alternative means of transportation to ensure safety on the roads. Please keep our friends, family and loved ones safe on New Year’s Eve.
