Almost $9,000 in property taken from home



About $9,000 worth of firearms and electronic equipment was stolen Wednesday from a Christiana home, a sheriff’s deputy reported.

Burglars stole the property from David R. Lee of Midland Road, Deputy Jurgen Mootz reported.

Items stolen included three rifles, a shotgun, a 30-30 firearm, three flat screen TVs, a gun case, three laptop computers, a DVD player, Xbox 360 and games, a Wii system and games, $60 cash, an IPod system and videos.
