Allen Clark Bell Jr., age 83, of Murfreesboro, passed away Jan. 17, 2013 at Community Care of Rutherford County.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County and a truck driver for Ryder Trucking.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents; Allen Clark Bell Sr. and Daisy Dean Davenport Bell; wife, Doris Evelyn Bell; sisters, Martha Pyland and Sarah Anderson; son-in-law, Garath Matthews; daughter-in-law, Sue Bell; and grandchild, Stephen Gregory Bell. He is survived by his sons, Thomas Allen Bell of Lascassas, Stephen Clark (Kathy) Bell of Lascassas and Michael Wayne (Yvonne) Bell of Murfreesboro; daughters, Linda Matthews of Simpsonville, SC and Pat (Ralph) Vaughn of Lascassas; grandchildren, Brian Matthews, Amber Bell, Megan Bell and Taylor Bell; and great-grandchild, Jayden Bell.

Chapel service will be held on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with James Hargrove officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
