I am just so sorry that these guard rails weren't put up before this tragic accident happened. Ms. Sterry, keep the faith. We are all still praying for Alisha's full recovery.

They are fixing a problem on this curve on this road, but, how many other curves on this same road need the same treatment? How many curves on other roads in Rutherford County need some badly needed guardrails? And how can a county that wants so badly to be like a Metro Nashville justify still having slab bridges on it's roads? How many other critically injured teenagers or others will it take to upgrade our county's roads?

I am so touched by this entire story. From it's unfortunate circumstances to it's heartwarming acts of kindness from individuals, sometimes it's best to look beyond criticism and just be thankful that there is improvement. God knows why this happened, and from this, lives have been touched in ways unimaginable. Continuing to pray for Alisha and her family that God will continue to give them strength and thanking God that folks are acting to improve things that need improvement.
